Mitchell Hewson
Mitch Joined the RN Building team in October 2018. After starting his apprenticeship in January 2011 at Bradford Building in Ashburton, working mainly on commercial projects. He became Qualified in 2016. Mitch was the Health and Safety Manager and Quality Control Officer for EA networks building projects. Some main projects Mitch has worked on include concrete placement/ reinforcement on a big scale. Precast concrete/steel beams and heavy duty crane work he is a skilled concrete worker and has worked on some high spec residential houses. Mitch always has a smile on his face and can be found Four wheel driving, playing squash or fellowship with Christian friends . He also loves spending time with his wife and children.
sam Keenan
Sam went to Geraldine High School and is now currently completing his Building Apprenticeship . Sam is a keen football player (He calls himself a football legend). Sam is from the Peel Forest area so he has the outdoors in his blood. He really enjoyed the high school Outdoor Education program at Geraldine High School and still loves to get out on the water for a kayak.
Ryan Neutze
Owner/Operator of RN Building. Ryan did a building trade course at Aoraki Polytechnic in 2007. Building apprentice specialising in new homes in 2008-2011. In 2011 Ryan worked for a skilled carpenter with plenty of years of knowledge and gained a wealth of industry experience. In 2012-2014 Ryan was head foreman specialising in new builds. Foreman on two large commercial buildings; the Vet Centre and a large Preschool. In 2015 Ryan established RN Building as a qualified builder, Registered lPB and site safe member. Ryan has recently built a new home in Woodbury with his wife Ella. Ryan loves treats and can usually be bribed with a bag of lollies. Outside of work Ryan loves the outdoors and sports were he is usually found on the rugby pitch or the golf course.
Rhys Guthrie-Biggs
Rhys is a newly Qualified Builder with many skills which put him ahead of the game. He has a background in roofing and installing log fires so Rhys knows his way around a building site. He is a family man and spends his weekends 4WDriving, mountain biking or getting away for camping trips. Rhys is a big food lover and never says no to a free morning tea!
Mathew Harding
Mathew is currently doing his building apprenticeship. He’s a keen young lad who has been with us since finishing his schooling at Geraldine High School. He’s a hard worker and is picking up new skills each day out on the building site. When Matt has down time he enjoys working on his cars and hunting.
Marc Palmer
Marc joined our team in 2021 and he is in the final year of his apprenticeship. Marc won the 2021 New Zealand Apprentice of the Year award which is an outstanding achievement and has shown us his high skill set and knowledge in the building industry. Marc owns his own house in Timaru and in his spare time he enjoys playing hockey and has been selected to represent South Canterbury .
Tesa Drake
Tesa joined our team in 2022 as our Office Administrator. Tesa has completed both a Diploma in Business and Accounting. She is working part time for RN Building and spends the rest of her time raising her young daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and playing the odd game of netball.
Jonty Sowden
Jonty joined us in 2023.
